California Privacy Notice
Supplementary Privacy Notice for Residents of California · Effective July 24, 2024 · Last updated Jan. 6, 2025
This Supplementary Privacy Notice (the “California Notice”) supplements the information contained in KL Event Services, LLC Privacy Policy and applies solely to all visitors, users, and others who reside in the State of California (“consumers” or “you”). We adopt this notice to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (CPRA) and any other amendments thereto. Any capitalized but undefined terms in this Policy have the meanings set forth in the CPRA or the Privacy Notice, as applicable. References to the CCPA shall be understood as references to the CPRA. References to the Website shall be understood as references to all services provided by Us.
Where noted in this Policy, the CCPA temporarily exempts personal information reflecting a written or verbal business-to-business communication (“B2B personal information”) from some of its requirements. If the terms of this California Notice and the terms of the Privacy Notice are in conflict, the terms of this California Notice shall govern.
Information We Collect
We collect information that identifies, relates to, describes, references, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer, household, or device (“personal information”). Personal information does not include publicly available information from government records, de-identified or aggregated consumer information, or information subject to specialized privacy laws (FCRA, GLBA/FIPA, and the Driver’s Privacy Protection Act of 1994).
In the last twelve (12) months we have collected the following categories of personal information from consumers:

We obtain the categories of personal information listed above directly from you (for example, from forms you complete or through our provision of services to you) and indirectly from you (for example, from observing your actions on our Website and Application).
Use of Personal Information
We may use, sell or share, or disclose the personal information we collect for one or more of the following purposes: to fulfill or meet the reason you provided the information; to provide, support, personalize, and develop our Website, Content, products, and services; to provide you with support and to respond to your inquiries; to help maintain the safety, security, and integrity of our Services, databases, and business; to respond to law enforcement requests and as required by applicable law; for any other legitimate business purpose consistent with applicable law and our Privacy Notice; as described to you when collecting your personal information; and to evaluate or conduct a merger, divestiture, restructuring, or other sale or transfer of some or all of our assets. We will not collect additional categories of personal information or use the personal information we collected for materially different, unrelated, or incompatible purposes without providing you notice and the opportunity to opt-out.
Sharing Personal Information
We may share your personal information by disclosing it to a third party for a business purpose. We only make these business purpose disclosures under written contracts that describe the purposes, require the recipient to keep the personal information confidential, and prohibit using the disclosed information for any purpose except performing their obligations. In the preceding twelve (12) months, Company has disclosed personal information for a business purpose to the categories of third parties indicated below.

Resell or Sharing Personal Information
The CCPA prohibits a third party from reselling or sharing personal information unless you have received explicit notice and an opportunity to opt-out of further sales. We do not sell or resell your personal information for any purposes whatsoever.
Sensitive Information
We do not currently collect what would be considered “Sensitive Personal Information” under the CPRA from normal business uses of our Website or Content. However, we may collect certain information that is considered “Sensitive Personal Information” under the CPRA from potential employees and contractors, including Social Security numbers, state identification numbers, driver’s licenses, and similar identifiers, and account log-in, financial account, debit card, or credit card numbers along with any required security or access code, password, or credentials. When we collect your Sensitive Personal Information we will always (i) let you know why it was collected and what purposes it will be used for, and (ii) provide you with an opportunity, both before and after collection, to opt-out of the collection or use of your Sensitive Personal Information.
Your Rights and Choices
Right to Know and Data Portability
You have the right to request that we disclose certain information to you about our collection and use of your personal information over the past 12 months. Once we receive your request and confirm your identity, we will disclose the categories of personal information we collected about you, the categories of sources, our business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling/sharing it, the categories of third parties with whom we share it, and the specific pieces of personal information we collected about you.
Right to Delete
You have the right to request that we delete any of your personal information that we collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions. We may deny your deletion request if retaining the information is necessary to complete a transaction, detect security incidents, debug products, exercise free speech, comply with the California Electronic Communications Privacy Act, conduct public-interest research, enable solely internal uses aligned with your expectations, comply with a legal obligation, or make other internal and lawful uses compatible with the context in which you provided it.
Right to Opt out of Certain Automated Decision-making and Profiling
Our Sites make use of certain automated decision-making algorithms which help to optimize how we provide our services to you by curating your user experience. You may choose not to have your personal information included in or subject to such automated decision-making and profiling. You may exercise these rights by contacting us at privacy@kleventservices.com.
Right to Correct
You have the right to request that we correct any inaccurate personal information about you, taking into account the nature of the personal information and of our use of it. Upon receiving a request to correct inaccuracies from a verified person, we shall endeavor to correct the incorrect information as soon as is feasible unless an exception applies.
Exercising Your Rights
To exercise your rights to know or delete, please submit a request by emailing us at privacy@kleventservices.com or contacting us at our Help Center. Only you, or someone legally authorized to act on your behalf, may make a request. You may only submit a request to know twice within a 12-month period. Your request must provide sufficient information to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information, and describe your request with sufficient detail to allow us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.
Response Timing and Format
We will confirm receipt of your request within ten (10) business days. We endeavor to substantively respond to a verifiable consumer request without undue delay and in any case within thirty (30) days of its receipt. If we require more time (up to another 30 days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing. Any disclosures we provide will only cover the 12-month period preceding our receipt of your request. We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your verifiable consumer request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded.
Personal Information Sales Opt-Out and Opt-In Rights
If you are age 16 or older, you have the right to direct us to not sell or share your personal information at any time (the “right to opt-out”). We do not sell consumer personal information at this time, and we do not collect information from individuals we actually know are less than 16 years old. To exercise the right to opt-out, you (or your authorized representative) may submit a request to us at our Help Center.
Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA or CPRA rights. Unless permitted by the CCPA or CPRA, we will not deny you services, charge you different prices or rates, provide you a different level or quality of services, or suggest that you may receive a different price, rate, level, or quality of services.
Other California Privacy Rights
California’s “Shine the Light” law (Civil Code Section § 1798.83) permits users of our Website that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please send an email to privacy@kleventservices.com or submit a request at our Help Center.
Changes to Our Privacy Notice
We reserve the right to amend our privacy policy and this California Notice at our discretion and at any time. When we make changes, we will post the updated notice on the Website and update the notice’s effective date. Your continued use of our Website following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
