Meet Kristen

Kristen Lott, Founder of KL Event Services

I've spent 12+ years inside the tools that make events actually work. Splash is where I built the deepest expertise. I spent nine years there as employee #30, building and leading customer support as the company grew from a scrappy startup into a global enterprise platform before its acquisition.

Along the way I supported thousands of event hosts, virtually and on-site, from first-time webinars to multi-day conferences. My expertise has spanned event marketing technology across websites, registration workflows, ticket sales, guest list management, on-site apps, and badge printing.

Before any of that, I came from journalism and publishing. In college I went to shows, interviewed bands, and wrote for publications. That led me to a talent agency, where instead of the literary route I went into the concerts department. That is where my love for live events really took hold.

I care about in-person connection, the kind you only get in a room full of people who showed up on purpose. Events are one of the most effective things a business can do, and one of the hardest. The right technology can elevate an event, drive real results, and let you run more of them, but there is still a whole event to produce. My job is to make that part easier, so hosts can focus on the room.

What drives me is empowering the people doing the work, especially small teams and growing businesses that deserve access to tools the system was not built to hand them, whether that is a budget wall or just the way these platforms are sold.

The best thing I can do is put teams in control of their own events, not dependent on me but genuinely capable, with the right tools, honest guidance, and someone in their corner when it counts. It's your event and your win, and I'm here to make it easier.

I care most about platforms that do what they say, stay reliable, and give you your time back and your guests a better experience. New ones are developing all the time. I'm now based in Denver, Colorado, and part of ID345, a community for entrepreneurs and AI builders, so it's my job to stay on top of the best event tech being built and recommend the right fit for you. I know what can go wrong before it does, because I've seen it from the inside for years.

For an agency, I'm someone you can put in front of your client with confidence, and I get on calls with clients all the time. If your team has a new hire learning a platform, or you're simply strapped for bandwidth, I'm the expert you can hand it to. That's how you grow without adding headcount.
